Michelle R. Moore
Best Student Presentation Award
The “Best Student Presentation Award” was established in 2010 in memory of Michelle R. Moore. Michelle was an avid supporter and past chair of the SOS Committee, Given Michelle's passion for the coatings industry and continuing education, earning her bachelor's degree shortly before her passing in 2008, this award should be presented to a student with the best overall presentation at the Sink or Swim Symposium.
This award is given by the Cleveland Coatings Society and is generously sponsored by the Palmer Holland Company.
The selected student will receive $500, courtesy of Palmer Holland. An additional $200 is given to the 2nd Place Finisher, courtesy of the CCS.
Presentations will be judged on the following criteria:
The best overall presentation of material
Thorough knowledge of subject material
Most likely commercialized/practical application
